About Ashland
Ashland is a small city of around 22,000 residents in Oregon's Rogue Valley. Perhaps best known as home to Southern Oregon University, Ashland is an important center of economic and cultural activity. Numerous boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment venues sit across the city.
In addition to the many thousands of residents who call Ashland home, the city welcomes visitors from across the globe each year as part of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which runs for eight months of the year and showcases some of the English playwright's most popular plays.
